1. Manager, Business Development
Position Description and Responsibilities:
BrandHardware seeks a tenacious Business Development Manager to take this organization to the next level. You will take an intellectual and consultative approach to generating new business. The new Business Development Manager position will be working within the B2B market, where ample opportunity will be given for you to develop and grow within a dynamic, visionary company.
You will have a proven track record in new business development (ideally gained within a branding, marketing, design or advertising agency environment) and have the relentless desire to be best in everything you do. Your need for personal and professional success will be your driving force everyday. To be successful in this role, you must be highly driven, dynamic, enthusiastic and eager to learn. You must be able to think creatively and enjoy working in a small team environment.
You are an entrepreneurial self-starter. You must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be highly experienced in guiding the development of complex new business strategies for our clients. You must have the poise, polish, professionalism and interpersonal skills to motivate people, engender trust and convince senior executives to buy.
Your Specific Responsibilities [+]
New Business Generation
- Successfully close qualified leads within targeted accounts and future verticals to meet revenue goals. 70% securing new opportunities through networking, cold calling, relationship building, etc.; 30% of effort will be focused on screening and qualifying in-bound leads.
- Understand BrandHardware’s client criteria and be able to screen business accordingly.
- Represent the company at networking functions and other industry-related events through speaking, networking and other business building activities.
Thought Leadership
- Possess a strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and solve client business challenges.
- Contribute to our business development and marketing strategies by being a key participant in quarterly, annual and ad hoc planning discussions.
- Possess strong critical reasoning skills; able to provide meaningful, well-reasoned critiques and suggestions on the direction of a variety of initiatives including the direction of the department, company or a particular pitch.
Proposal Management and Development
- Lead the development of RFP / RFI responses and presentations.
- Able to draw from industry insights, past client work and client needs to help formulate the strategy and proposed solution in collaboration with the team.
Reporting, Tracking and Planning
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Contribute to regular reports, business development and marketing plans, and pipeline status.
- Be actively available via phone, e-mail and IM for real-time discussions on opportunities, process, team collaboration, status, etc.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- 5 - 10 years sales or business development experience (preferably in a branding, marketing, design or advertising agency environment).
- Proven track record developing relationships; able to build relationships with senior-level executives to create new opportunities for BrandHardware.
- Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of BrandHardware’s organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to formulate, write and succinctly communicate our value, strategy and proposed solution on client opportunities.

2. Senior Brand & Marketing Strategist
Position Description and Responsibilities:
BrandHardware seeks a brilliant, creative individual to fulfill the role of Senior Brand & Marketing Strategist.
You will have a proven track record in developing leading-edge brand and marketing strategies and have the relentless desire to be the best in everything you do. To be successful in this role, you must be highly driven, dynamic, enthusiastic. focussed, and eager to learn. You must be able to think creatively, strategically and enjoy working in a small team environment. You will take an intellectual and consultative approach to generating new ideas and strategy for BrandHardware's SME & Enterprise-level customers.
You must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be highly experienced in guiding the development of complex business and marketing strategies for our clients. You must have the poise, polish, professionalism and interpersonal skills to motivate people, engender trust and convince senior executives to buy.
You will work with client's senior leadership group in identifying gaps and framing opportunities, looking across brand, market, competitive and channel dimensions. This individual will interface with client senior leadership, technical and executive management to ensure strategic focus throughout the planning and execution of the solution across the organization.
The Senior Brand & Marketing Strategist will work with his/her team to apply industry best practices, mix modeling tools and client data/experiences to plan and optimize the marketing mix around clients’ goals. Half of this role will be spent in a strategic development and planning capacity, whereas the other half will be focused on execution of marketing plans and responsibilities.
Your Specific Responsibilities [+]
- Provide leadership, direction and relevant insights that will guide the strategy, brand and marketing communications planning to BrandHardware's clients.
- Deliver compelling competitive analysis, audience analysis, industry trends and client-facing and internal direction to identify and address key marketing challenges and solutions.
- Synthesize analysis to create powerful recommendations that drive clients to action and excite team members.
- Apply knowledge to develop integrated marketing plans that add value to the brand and identify future opportunities within both traditional marketing media and the digital space.
- Develop and persuasively communicate brand/positioning/consumer perception portions of communications plans or other recommendations; be able to develop (with guidance) a strategic platform with informative insights based on research findings; persuasively communicate thoughts and ideas to both staff and clients; demonstrate poise, intellect, accessibility, professionalism and commitment.
- Demonstrate good listening skills, fostering an environment of professional commitment and mutual trust, communicate upstream and downstream in a manner that is timely, respectful, productive and supports overall project goals; communicate with clients in a manner that’s timely, informative and succinct.
- Monitor overall timeframes and deliverable milestones for research projects, planning components etc. to deliver according to client/staff expectations.
- Work with BrandHardware senior leadership to create, develop and deliver integrated strategy recommendations.
Experience and Skills
- 3- 5 years of agency experience in strategic development, client presentation and management.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (preferably in Marketing).
- MBA or a Masters degree in Integrated Marketing is ideal.
- Ability to provide big picture strategic thinking, vision and insights to drive big ideas and digital initiatives (search, social media, mobile and emerging technology).
- Experience managing and executing integrated marketing plans and budgets across traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Excellent presentation skills; experience delivering dynamic presentations to clients and prospective clients from Senior Managers to C-Suite level; ability to think on your feet.
- Outgoing, high energy team player with passion for marketing and quality work.

3. Senior Designer, Visual Communications (Print & Web)
Position Description and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and brilliant individual to serve in the role of Senior Designer, Visual Communications (web and print)
Your Specific Responsibilities [+]
Regular Activities
- Creating highly usable web interface design solutions focused on the user experience (i.e. storyboards; interactive page layouts; site grids and interface designs; photo retouching and enhancements; and animated web elements.
- Designing visual communications and marketing solutions for BrandHardware and its clients (i.e. visual identities, marketing collateral, brand and visual communications guidelines documentation, brochures, corporate image advertising, annual reports, environmental design elements, etc.)
Experience and Skills:
- Four-year Bachelor of Design degree, M.Des degree or Diploma in Visual Communications design.
- Advanced ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines and unexpected challenges.
- Advanced knowledge of creative processes, photography, print processes and material sourcing.
- A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite 4 (Design & Web Premium), Microsoft Office, Apple Pages & Keynote.
